The Golden-headed Sleeper Goby, Blueband Goby, or Pennant Glider are not only pretty fish, but are great for a marine environment. They are constantly digging and turning over the sand to help keep it clean. These fish lay or hover on the bottom and use their large mouths to sift sand. They like to build small borrows under rockwork. It feeds off the bottom as it sifts through the sand eating mouthfuls of sand and the food that lives within the sand, keeping the sand well oxygenated. The Sleeper Gold Head Goby feeds on a variety of live and frozen brine shrimp, mysis shrimp, and should be fed frequently.
