The hardy Half Black Angelfish is an excellent addition to the home aquarium. One of the less aggressive of the family, the Half Black Angelfish is one addition that is more likely to behave itself in the home aquarium. The Half Black Angelfish's diet should also include Spirulina, marine algae, seaweed, krill, brine shrimp, mysis or frozen shrimp. It should have large amounts of live rock for hiding and grazing. These fish enjoy having access to hiding places. We recommend positioning the rock openly so as to create many passages and caves for the fish to swim through and hide in.
